A new tourist trail has been developed to showcase the film locations around Achill that are highlighted in the award winning film "The Banshees of Inisherin". The Martin McDonagh movie ‘The Banshees of Inisherin’ was filmed on location on Achill Island, Co. Mayo, and also on Inishmore, one of the Aran Islands in Co. Galway. Both destinations are on the west coast of Ireland. The movie stared Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson, Barry Keoghan and was nominated for many Oscars.
